How Starbucks Is Using Social Media

Starbucks has recently surpassed Coca-Cola as the most popular brand on Facebook.  It is a company that has been utilizing social media aggressively for some time now and is one of the better companies at using social media to extend their brand and also use the medium in creative and engaging ways.  Social media is a strong component of their marketing strategy instead of an afterthought as it is with most other large companies.  Brandweek interviews Alexandra Wheeler who is the director of digital strategy at Starbucks on how Starbucks is currently using social media as well as their upcoming initiatives.
